John Koryl has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since February 2023. Previously, Koryl served as President, CTC Digital, at Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (“CTC”), and held several senior leadership roles at  Neiman Marcus, Williams-Sonoma, Inc., eBay, Inc., UmbrellaBank, fsb, Creditland.com, and Andersen Consulting.   Koryl previously served as an independent director of the Guitar Center (2014 to 2017) and Petco (2013), and he currently serves as an independent director of AI Tayer Group, Insignia. Koryl holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame. He also completed the Stanford Executive Program from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. 

Rati Sahi Levesque, President and Chief Operations Officer of The RealReal, is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s revenue channels and operations, including its authentication center and retail footprints, as well as expert teams and authentication. She also leads the merchandising, editorial and creative vision of the company. Rati joined The RealReal Founder Julie Wainwright in 2011 as the company's first employee and a catalyst to bringing Julie’s vision of a new way to buy and sell consigned luxury goods to life. Prior to joining The RealReal, Rati launched her first entrepreneurial endeavor with the fashion-forward Russian Hill boutique, Anica. Setting out to fill the void of avant-garde designers in the city, Anica acquired a significant following, especially for the store's luxury consignment selection. Prior to that, she worked in the financial industry, following her graduation from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she received a degree in Economics.

Rati is featured prominently in fashion publications like Fashionista, Glossy, The Coveteur, ELLE, Cheddar and more, offering expertise on all things luxury and consignment. She was featured in the second annual Glossy 50 list, as well as in Internet Retailer’s Hot 100 issue. Rati spoke at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit and was recognized by Luxury Daily as one of their Luxury Women to Watch. Additionally, she was part of the ShopStyle Advisory Board. Rati resides in San Francisco with her husband and two children. 
 

Ajay Gopal has served as our Chief Finance Officer since March 2024. Prior to joining The RealReal, Gopal served as the Chief Financial Officer at Outside Interactive, Inc., where he led the finance organization to build its portfolio of active lifestyle products. Gopal has deep experience helming finance organizations, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Good Eggs, Helix and StubHub. His more than 20 years of experience also includes senior leadership positions at eBay and GE Healthcare. Gopal holds a Master of Management Studies degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.  

Todd Suko has served as our Chief Legal Officer and Secretary since May 2020. Todd joined The RealReal from OneMarket Limited, where he served as Chief Financial and Legal Officer. Prior to joining OneMarket, Todd spent nearly a decade at Harman International Industries, Inc., where he oversaw all legal affairs in his role as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He previously served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at UAP Holding Corp., overseeing its environmental health and safety and transportation functions. Earlier, he was in private practice at McKenna & Cuneo, LLP. Todd earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia. He also served as an aviator in the United States Navy and retired as a Commander in the Navy Reserve.

Luke Friang has served as our Technology and Product Officer since January 2023. Luke served as the Head of Tech & Digital at Lovevery, and was an original member of Zulily's executive team. During his tenure at Zulily as Chief Technology and Product Officer, he helped the company become one of five US based pure-play e-commerce companies to achieve $1B in annualized revenue in less than 5 years, and led the technology organization through a period of massive scale, including a successful IPO and acquisition by Quarate Retail Group. Luke has deep e-commerce and retail domain experience, with more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across companies including Eddie Bauer, Spiegel, Costco and Walgreens.  Luke studied business administration, computer sciences, and Internet technology at multiple colleges in the greater Seattle area.

Chatelle Lynch has served as our Chief People Officer since December 2023. Previously, Chatelle served as Chief People Officer at McAfee, where she ran the People Office, facilities, and corporate and executive communications. During her tenure, she took McAfee from private to public to private again, including the divestiture of a $4B dollar business to STG, and led a successful $14B sale to PE. Prior to her CPO role, Chatelle held the head of human resources for Intel Security, a separately owned subsidiary of Intel before being fully integrated. She has also held leadership positions at Fluor Corporation, specializing in human resources and compensation. Known for her expertise in producing cutting-edge programs that best meet the needs of diverse business models, Chatelle is instrumental in building and leading organizational design and development for today’s dynamically changing landscape. Native to Australia, Chatelle holds two bachelor’s degrees from Deakin University in Melbourne.
